Each year, the Church celebrates a feast in honor of the Blessed Sacrament, the Body and Blood of Christ. The outdoor procession is a Catholic tradition dating back nearly 1,000 years.
The entire assembly joins the procession to give honor to Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament, and to show forth our faith to our downtown neighborhood.

Children who made their First Communion in May read the intercessions during the Mass and took part in the procession as well.

At the center of the procession is the Blessed Sacrament, the living presence of Christ in our midst. Father Ryan carries a monstrance containing the consecrated host, "the Bread, life-giving, living" (Lauda Sion).
The procession ends on Terry Avenue, with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Father Ryan incenses the host, and then makes the sign of the cross over the people with the monstrance.
"May we all one bread, one body be, through this blest Sacrament of Unity."
